Cub Scout Pack 188 Family Camp Out
Saturday August 7th - Sunday August 8th
at Cheesequake State Park
We have 2 campsites reserved. Each site has 5 parking spaces on site and 5 additional spots a short distance away. Please be sure to provide the make, model and license plate of the car you will be arriving in.
Meet on Saturday by 12:00pm to set up your tent and claim your spot.
We will be meeting back at the campsite around noon to have lunch (be sure to bring your own "brown bag" lunch). Around 1:30 (time to be confirmed) we will enjoy a talk/tour of the park by Parks System Naturalist. We may take a hike and visit the Nature Center as well as organize a few group games such as soccer, kickball, etc.
Peter Conkling will be offereing a Survival Demonstration.
By 6:00pm we will be preparing our campfire to cook dinner. In the evening we will roast marshmallows and enjoy a few campfire ghost stories and perhaps have the boys present some skits.
